Lithium chains, gentle yet
Sickening, embrace my
Frail heart, embedding hot
Shards of confusion.
Endless questions echo as
One with the weak pulse,
Begging for release, praying
For a time of change.
Dark light, warm sadness,
Swirling in a mix of
Wildflowers and broken dreams,
Making sense to the insane.
Drifting lyrics encircle tears,
Soothing pain and opening
Doors, revealing a glimpse
Of something foreign.
The glass puzzle becomes
Whole, a soft voice, my
Own, calls out. The sun
Has come home again.
